The latest update regarding CSEA’s attack on our AME SCCC members: As the case is before PERB…what’s next? In order to give AME members at Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) relief, AME forced CSEA to “put up or shut up” at PERB!

The contract that CSEA got New York State employee

Hi Everyone,

  We have been receiving phone calls and inquiries regarding some information surrounding the CSEA raid on SCCC and the possibility that CSEA has pulled out of the raid on SCCC employees or that AME backed out and is letting CSEA go ahead with it's fragmentation raid.   We have heard the same rumors; they have not been confirmed and at this time they are just rumors.  As we have not received official confirmation of this CSEA backing out, AME will still be attending PERB on July 7 and 8, we have NOT backed down from our fight.  If anything changes, AME will be sure to notify our members.

We are strong together in unity and will prevail!

CSEA = Transparncey?

Think again!

At Brookhaven CSEA Local 852, workers were told by their union "they were bamboozled" into giving concessions on a previously negotiated contract.

This leads us to believe that "Workers for (bad) Change" haven't compared AME's contract to CSEA's. Have them talk to us when they do. The DIFFERENCE is clear.

Proud to be AME,

Cheryl A. Felice

For all those people who believe what the SCCC Workers for Change and CSEA are telling you, here is the harsh reality.  Fragmenting can do this for you too.
